Ex-Towie star Amy Childs, who was in the first series of the show, is pregnant with her first child!
According to “The Sun,” she’s overjoyed after discovering she is 12 weeks pregnant and set to become a mum in the middle of next year (May 2, 2017 to be more exact).
Amy, 26, reunited with her boyfriend, Bradley Wright, 25, in March this year. The couple met two years ago in her local pub in Brentwood. The relationship came to a halt in October last year, when Bradley was sentenced to 16 months in jail for handling stolen goods.
Talking about her pregnancy, Amy admitted that she wanted to start a family with her man before he went to prison, but she feared she wasn’t able to have children. However, now that it is happening she couldn’t be happier.
“We’ve wanted a baby for so long, so we’re happier than we’re ever been. We wanted one before Bradley went to prison but it didn’t happen. I didn’t think I could get pregnant,” she said.
When Bradley was behind bars, Amy revealed she struggled to cope and suffered a breakdown. In an interview, she told the magazine: “I had a breakdown when Bradley went to prison, but I never fell out of love with him. Brad still apologises for what he did to me.” Since rekindling their relationship this year, they are now more in love than ever.
The exciting baby news comes just a few months after she revealed plans to freeze her eggs until she found Mr. Right. The star said that she didn’t want to run out of time while she was looking for the perfect man. Looks like she won’t be needing them anymore!
