George and Amal Clooney have welcomed a set of twins!
The Hollywood super couple welcomed a baby boy and a baby girl, their rep has revealed to “People” magazine. “This morning Amal and George welcomed Ella and Alexander Clooney into their lives. Ella, Alexander and Amal are all healthy, happy and doing fine.”
The statement ended jokingly with: “George is sedated and should recover in a few days.”
They announced that they were expecting back in June but speculation around Amal being pregnancy started back in January when she was spotted sporting a baby bump at an event in London.
With the arrival of their twins, George and Amal are now first time parents. Interestingly enough, they are not the only A-list couple to have twins this year – Beyoncé and Jay-Z will also be having a set of twins as well.
