TOWIE’s Amy Childs is just one week away from giving birth!
With an official due date of May 2, Amy is literally just days away from expecting her first child. She is welcoming a daughter with her boyfriend, Bradley Wright, after having dated for two years.
Just last week Amy revealed that she thought she was going into labour but it turned out it was just a false alarm. “I woke Brad up and said ‘she’s coming’. I told him to get the car ready. But then I gave myself a little moment and realised the pains weren’t regular – it was Braxton Hicks again,” she said to “OK!” magazine.
Braxton Hicks is a common symptom that many pregnant women get just before they are about to give birth, as it is the body’s way of preparing for labour.
Amy also said that she will be having a water birth, although she is scared about what is to come. “I’m going to have a water birth. Mum will be with me and Brad. We’re just preparing for everything. You don’t know what’s going to happen but it’s nice to have a good birthing plan,” she said.
“I’m not going to lie, I’m really scared. Everyone tells you the worst birth stories, don’t they?” Amy added.
