TOWIE’s Amy Childs welcomed her baby girl earlier this month but she has yet to reveal her baby name choice…until now!
In an interview with “OK!” magazine, Amy has confirmed the name of her daughter: Polly!
“Her full name is Polly Childs-Wright. We liked the traditional names,” she said. “Brad suggested Polly first. It’s a bit unusual. Before the birth we liked India…”
“But she’s not an India,” said her boyfriend, Bradley Wright.
“Another name was Elsie, but she definitely isn’t an Elsie,” Amy added.
Amy welcomed Polly after a painful 27 hour labour and she has not been shy about saying how unpleasant the experience was for her. “Labour was terrifying. I thought I was going to die; I’m not going to lie to you, it was horrific,” she admitted. “I just had no idea it would be so painful.”
“I was told that some people don’t dilate and you can have a four-day labour. At 9pm, 18 hours into my labour, I finally agreed to it. I really wanted to go pain-free, but after 18 hours the nurse suggested I should have an epidural,” Amy said.
It seems as if all the pain was worth it! We absolutely love the name choice – we think it is fresh, modern and very adorable indeed!
