Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis welcomed their baby boy just a few days ago, but it is only now that we know what they have decided to name him.
And no, it’s not Hawkeye.
The newest addition to the Kutcher-Kunis household is…Dimitri Portwood! Ashton made the announcement on his entertainment website, A Plus. Of course, he gave his readers a little message, one that simply asks for privacy for his family at this very happy moment in their lives.
“We’d like to allow our kids to make their own choices on whether to have a life in the public eye or not,” Ashton said. “We don’t want to make the choice for them.”
A few more specific details were revealed about little Dimitri as well: he was born at exactly 1.21 am on November 30th, 2016, weighing 8 pounds and 15 ounces.
Dimitri is a great name choice that reflects Mila’s Ukranian roots (she was born in Ukraine, but grew up in Los Angeles). It is a Slavic name that means “follower of Demeter,” who is the Greek Goddess of Agriculture.
Portwood is also a unique name that we think will become very popular in the coming months for parents who are looking for baby name ideas!
