Blake Lively has been in the news quite a bit recently, not only because her new film “The Shallows” has hit the theatres, but also because she is pregnant with her second child.
Her husband, Ryan Reynolds, wasted no time in organising a celeb-filled baby shower over the weekend for her with guests including Taylor Swift and Emily Blunt.
The celebration was held at the luxurious Bedford Post Inn in upstate New York on Saturday and it included a hot chocolate bar – that alone is envy-inducing!
There doesn’t appear to be any social media posts about the shower (either from Blake or social media queen, Taylor), but we imagine that it was probably a pretty fantastic day, as Blake and several of her famous friends continued the party at the Reynolds-Lively house afterwards.
“Ryan orchestrated it all – Blake was so surprised! It was a wonderful day – the weather was perfect and Blake was super happy to celebrate with girlfriends,” a source told PEOPLE magazine.
In an interview with E! News, Ryan said that Blake is “extraordinarily pregnant”, which is understandable as their baby is due in April.
We can’t wait until the newest member of their family enters the world!
