Cara De La Hoyde is expecting a baby with her ex-boyfriend Nathan Massey very soon and they have recently found out the sex of their baby and discussed their name plans for their little one.
At their 20-week scan, Cara and Nathan found out that they are having a little boy. This seems perfect for Cara, who said previously that she would like a son. “I’m not very girlie so I’d rather have a little boy who’ll get all muddy than a little princess. I’m a bit more rough and ready. Now we know the sex, it’s so much more real,” she told “OK!” magazine.
They have also talked baby names and Nathan seems to like Archie quite a bit.
Cara isn’t so keen on the name, though. “But Archie and Alfie have been done so much,” Cara said. “We’re not naming him after a food or a place, he’s going to have a strong name. And with clothes I like the traditional look, like how Sam Faiers dresses baby Paul.”
“I’m on a WhatsApp group with all the Love Island girls and they want to buy stuff for the baby. I said: ‘Girls I’m not being a diva but I don’t want modern stuff. No jeans, trainers or tracksuits,” she continued.
“I think he [the baby] was conceived in Iceland – we should call him Reykjavik,” Cara added as a joke.
Congratulations to Cara and Nathan (despite their plans to not get back together)!
