If you have lost track of the famous people who have welcomed a baby this year (and there were a lot of them!), then here is a little reminder of some of the more noteworthy celebrity baby births this year.
Mick Jagger and Melanie Hamrick
Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger showed everyone that age is just a number as he welcomed another child at 73-years-old. The mother of his child is 29-year-old ballerina, Melanie Hamrick. Mick continues to live up to his rock and roll image and his newborn son joins his seven other children, all of whom are from different relationships.
Ashton and Mila welcomed their second baby in December, who they named Dimitri Portwood Kutcher. A few months before Mila was due to give birth, Ashton accidentally let it slip in an interview that they were expecting a baby boy, and also joked about calling his son Hawkeye.
The couple already have a daughter together, Wyatt, 2.
Peter Andre and Emily MacDonagh
Peter and Emily welcomed their second baby in November, a baby boy who they have named Theodore James. He will be joining big sister Amelia, 2. This is Emily’s second child and Peter’s fourth, as he also has Junior, 11, and Princess, 9, from his previous relationship with Katie Price.
The couple announced that they were expecting a baby in May and revealed the baby’s gender on their reality TV series, “Rob & Chyna.” Their baby girl entered the world in early November, and her parents named her Dream. Not only that, but they also made a mannequin challenge video as Chyna was giving birth and started an Instagram account for baby Dream not long after she was born!
This is Rob’s first child, but Chyna’s second child, as she shares a son, King Cairo, 4, with her ex-fiancé, Tyga.
Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds
Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds welcomed their second baby together back in October. The pair are known for keeping their personal lives private so no further details have been revealed about the little bundle of joy except for the fact that they had a girl.
Their newborn will be little sister to their daughter, James, 1. Both Blake and Ryan have talked openly about expanding their family so we are sure there that baby number two won’t be the last for them!
Michael Phelps and Nicole Johnson
Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps and his fiancé Nicole Johnson welcomed their first baby in May. They had a baby boy, whom they named Boomer – certainly an eclectic baby name choice! Michael recently took his son to the pool for the first time and we have a feeling that Boomer is going to follow in his dad’s footsteps…
Michael Bublé and Luisana Lopilato
Canadian crooner Michael Bublé welcomed his second child with his wife, Luisana Lopilato in January. They made their pregnancy announcement in the summer of 2015 and have been keeping fans updated on social media. They named their son Elias, and he will be baby brother to Noah, who Luisana had in 2013.
Patrick Kielty and Cat Deeley
Cat Deeley gave birth to the couple’s first child, back at the very start of the year in January. Following the birth of her baby boy she took to Twitter to announce the news to their fans, saying: “Beyond delighted to announce the birth of our baby boy last week. All doing well & we couldn’t be happier…”
Apparently, Cat and Patrick had some trouble coming up with the perfect baby name and only revealed it six months after Cat had given birth…they settled for Milo, which we think is adorable!
