Looks like there might be a bit of trouble in paradise for Cheryl and Liam as they might be fined for not registering their baby’s name in time.
They face a fine of £200 for not registering baby Bear‘s name within the 42-day deadline after giving birth. The couple welcomed their son on March 22 and they are now five days overdue, according to “Mail on Sunday.”
The couple have also only revealed their baby name one week ago and have taken quite a bit of time settling on the perfect name for their son. A source for “The Sun” said that it took them a whole week to decide what to call him: “Cheryl and Liam wanted to get to know their baby before deciding on a name… They didn’t have the name Bear before the birth. But they’d been thinking of a name since meeting him and they just felt it suited him. They love their little baby Bear Payne and are truly over the moon and love being parents for their first time together.”
Liam confirmed the baby name choice last week after replying to a congratulatory tweet from television presenter and friend, Bear Grylls.
So, while it may be official on social media, Liam and Cheryl better get a move on and file all the proper legal paperwork!
