Baby Chiam has finally arrived and Cheryl and Liam shared the happy news this weekend, causing an Internet meltdown. However, the couple have yet to reveal their baby name choice but there have been clues from Cheryl’s past interviews as to what she might pick.
In an old interview Cheryl gave to “GQ” magazine a few year ago, she talked a bit about babies and starting a family: “Of course I’ve thought about baby names a million times. I like Alfie for a little boy,” she said.
“I love kids, I’m obsessed with babies. I know that’s what I was put on the Earth to do – to be a mother,” she continued.
So, it seems that Alfie is the forerunner but it has been a few years, so perhaps Cheryl has changed her mind a bit.
Bookies have already started taking bets, with Alfie leading 4/1 odds, followed by Simon (after Simon Cowell) at 14/1. Liam’s One Direction bandmates are also in the cards – Harry is at 10/1, Zayn 20/1, Niall 25/1 and Louis at 25/1.
