TOWIE’s Ferne McCann has opened up about being a single mum – both her nerves and her excitement at the prospect.
She is expecting her first child with her ex-boyfriend, Arthur Collins, who has been arrested following an attack at a London nightclub back in April. And while the situation is tough, Ferne has taken comfort in her unborn child.
“Initially I was devastated. What I had planned and was getting excited about had disappeared in a matter of moments. It was so hard to deal with what happened, but then I realised it was not about me but about my child,” she told “OK!” magazine.
“It never changed how I felt about this baby. The excitement never altered. You have tough times in life but the thought of having a baby kept me going.”
Ferne is also adamant that she knows the sex of her baby. Although she ultimately wants to keep it a surprise, Ferne has also said she knows she will be having a baby boy.
“I read up online about all the symptoms. One boob is supposed to get bigger than the other. I can’t remember which one,” she revealed. “Also you sleep on your left, which I’ve been doing.”
We can’t wait until Ferne gives birth and tells us the sex of her baby…and of course, her name choice!
