“Gavin and Stacey‘s” Joanna Page has welcomed her third child, a son, with her husband James Thornton!
The news was announced on the actress’ Twitter: “Our beautiful baby boy Noah Wilder Russell was born Tues the 13th at 8.51am, weighing 7 pounds 3. Welcome to our gang Noah! We love you xxx,” she wrote.
James also Tweeted about the birth of his child, writing: “Christmas has come early for us! Baby number 3 is here! Our beautiful baby Noah arrived Tues 13th 8.51am 7lbs3. He is amazing X.”
Baby Noah will be joining his siblings Eva, 3, and Kit, 20 months.
Joanna revealed that she was pregnant for the third time back in June, also via her Twitter. She joked that she had morning sickness, but that it was “a breeze” when she is already looking after her two children.
Best known for her role as the lovable Welsh lass Stacey in the popular BBC comedy, Joanna married James, who plays John Barton on “Emmerdale,” in December 2003. They met on the set of “David Copperfield” in 1999, but was later brought together again through their mutual friend, actress Maxine Peake.
The couple have been very vocal about their desire to have a big family, especially as James is one of four children in his family.
She told WalesOnline in June 2016 that she could “see how people get addicted to having babies.”
“I would like to keep going and try to pop out as many as possible – I wish I’d started having them younger,” Joanna said.
Congrats to the happy couple!
