Rumours have been swirling around this Hollywood power couple for months, but have we finally got some confirmation that George and Amal Clooney are going to be parents, and to twins at that?
The British-Lebanese lawyer, who married George Clooney in 2014, has made the tabloids speculate once again as she stepped out to an event in London, foregoing her usual form fitting dresses and swapping it for a loose fitting floral one…perhaps to cover up her new baby bump?
To fan the flames of the pregnancy rumours, Amal also attended the Credit Suisse Women of Impact dinner in Switzerland the next day wearing a two-piece ensemble that seems to show off her fuller middle.
A source close to Amal told “InTouch Weekly” magazine that the couple couldn’t be happier with the news: “When George and Amal found out it was twins they were surprised, but also a little scared because they both had said that one was enough. But the news that it was a boy and a girl made them both really happy. They feel like they’ve hit the family jackpot.”
“He’s gone from never wanting to be a father to being totally excited about Amal’s pregnancy and the thought of raising two children who will call him Dad,” the insider said. “He’s been doting on Amal’s every need and talking to her belly. He’s also having a blast coming up with baby names.”
What exciting news! We wonder what names the couple will choose for their twins – more American ones, or ones that reflect Amal’s rich cultural background? Only time will tell!
