Geri Horner, aka Ginger Spice, has given birth to baby number two over the weekend!
She and husband Christian Horner welcomed their son on Saturday afternoon, using Twitter to deliver the happy news: “Christian and I are delighted to announce our baby boy was born this morning weighing 7lbs 8oz.”
Later, Geri shared a lovely black and white picture of him on her Instagram. In addition to a picture of her baby’s feet, she also announced the name of her bundle of joy: “Montague George Hector Horner arrived this morning, a beautiful little brother for Bluebell and Olivia #amazing-day #grateful #monty.”
Geri announced her pregnancy back in October. This will be her second child, as she is already mum to ten-year-old Bluebell, from a previous relationship.
She and Christian got married in May 2015 and the Geri has previously described her husband, who is the Team Principle of the Formula One team, as her best friend. They were married in a ceremony in Bedfordshire, where Bluebell was a bridesmaid.
A fun fact was pointed out by the official Spice Girls Exhibition Twitter: Geri’s son shares the same birthday as fellow Spice Girls member, Emma Bunton! This is indeed a Spice Baby!
