The former Spice Girl announced she’s expecting a baby with her husband, Christian Horner! She announced the exciting news on social media with a snap on Instagram in which she sketched a pregnant woman and added the very appropriate hashtag “#Mama Spice”. The news has delighted her fans who rushed to leave congratulatory messages.
Geri will be a second time mother as she already has a ten-year-old daughter, Bluebell, from a previous relationship.
She and Christian got married in May 2015 and the loved-up Geri has previously described her husband, who is the Team Principle of the Formula One team, as her best friend. They were married in a ceremony in Bedfordshire, where Bluebell was a bridesmaid. Geri says: “He knows me inside out, I don’t edit myself with him. It was a big learning curve,” according to “The Mirror”.
Geri Horner’s team announced today that the couple are “delighted” with the news.
The statement said: “Spice girl Geri Horner, 44 and husband Christian Horner OBE, 42, are absolutely delighted to announce they are expecting their first child together. The couple is overjoyed with the good news and cannot wait to welcome the newest addition to their family.”
