Speidi have announced back in April that they are expecting a baby together and we can’t be more thrilled!
The happy couple recently sat down with “Refinery29” to talk about their baby and of course, baby names. Both Heidi and Spencer are thrilled to be starting a family it seems, and they are both looking forward to welcoming their child together.
On the topic of baby names, it looks as if they have yet to narrow anything down. “Baby names are really hard. We’re having a seriously challenging time. A lot of the names I like are taken. Spencer doesn’t want to have a duplicate name out there,” Heidi admitted.
“I just don’t want to have the same name like Tom Cruise’s kid,” Spencer added.
Apparently, Chris is on Spencer’s list so they can give the world another Chris Pratt! “That’s definitely on the list. But our Chris Pratt would take photos with his fans. He’ll be a very different Chris Pratt,” he said.
One name that is definitely not on the table, though, is Speidi.
“[For a] middle name… It’s a very realistic middle name. There’s [a] first name [that would go with] Speidi… Well, ‘Speidi’ is in it, but you merge ‘Speidi’ with an ending. It makes it a little less flashy… Speidison. Uh oh, did I give it away?” Spencer joked.
“No, we’re not using that one. It’s okay,” Heidi countered.
We can’t wait until they tell us what they’ve chosen – as long as it’s not Speidi!
