Olympic athlete Jessica Ennis-Hill has announced that she is expecting her second child with her husband, Andy Hill!
Jessica revealed the happy news on her Instagram by sharing a picture of her son, Reggie, holding a book that says “I’m going to be a big brother.” She captioned the picture with: “Someone’s going to be a big brother! Another little Ennis-Hill on the way. So happy @andyhill18.”
The happy couple, who were married in 2013, are already parents to two-year-old Reggie.
Jessica, who won a gold medal for Great Britain in the heptathlon races in the 2012 London Olympics, retired from athletics last October.
She spoke to “OK!” magazine about how she wanted another child with Andy. “I need to have some time with Andy and Reggie – we definitely would love another child in the near future,” she said. “I’ve trained and competed for the majority of my life, so it will be a strange feeling when that day comes when I’m not.”
It seems as if Jessica has shifted her focus to her family and now that she is having another little one, having time to spend with her new bundle of joy is even more important.
