Joseph Gordon-Levitt and his wife, Tasha McCauley, are expecting baby number two!
The happy news was confirmed to “E! News” by the couple’s rep. The couple were also seen stepping out in Beverley Hills yesterday and Tasha was pictured sporting a baby bump but now their pregnancy is definitely confirmed!
Joseph and Tasha are already parents to a son, who they welcomed back in August 2015. They are fiercely private about their personal life and did not make any announcements the first time around and very quietly welcomed their first child without any fanfare. Since then, they have not made any moves to reveal their son’s name to the public.
In a 2015 interview on “Live! With Kelly and Michael,” Joseph talked about how important it is that he keeps his family out of the limelight.
“Being in the public eye is a great thing,” he said. “It allows me to do what I love to do, which is act in movies, but it’s a choice that I made.”
“My son, he’s just a baby, you know? He hasn’t made the choice to be in the public eye, and that’s a choice that I would like him to be able to make when he’s older, when he can think about these kinds of things and make that decision for himself,” he continued. “And so, for now, I’m just a protective dad, and I want to protect his privacy.”
