We all know Katy Perry is a full time singer, but did you know she also moonlights as a midwife?
The pop star helped deliver her older sister’s baby this week and went straight back to the studio a few hours later – now that’s what we call a talented lady!
Katy, 31, shared the exciting news on her Twitter, saying: “Helped deliver my sister’s baby at 2pm & am in the studio by 8pm. GET A GIRL THAT CAN DO BOTH ❗️👶🎤”
This isn’t the first time this has happened either, as she has helped deliver her sister’s baby back in February 2014 as well. Is she going to make a habit of this? If so, perhaps Katy should start her own practice!
“Finally you can add ‘helps delivers babies in living rooms’ to my resume! It’s been a miracle of a day… Auntie Katy aka Stylist Auntie,” Katy tweeted back in 2014 when her sister, Angela, gave birth to her first child.
Katy doesn’t have any children of her own, although she has talked about started a family in the past. In an interview on the “Ellen DeGeneres Show” in 2011, while still married to Russell Brand, she said: “I would love to have children. I think that’s one of the reasons you get married. Especially to the person that you marry. You think, that person is going to be a good partner, a good parent.”
She is currently dating Hollywood actor Orlando Bloom. While their relationship hasn’t gotten to that stage yet, we think their kids would be absolutely adorable!
