Television host Vanessa Lachey, 35, is expecting her third child with her partner, former 98 Degrees heartthrob, Nick Lachey, 42.
The couple shared the exciting news on their Instagram in a sweet family snap taken outside their new home with the caption: “We got a new crib! Now we need a new crib!” written at top of the picture. A heart is drawn over Vanessa’s growing baby bump accouncing “Newest Lachey arriving Spring 2017”.
Nick previously opened up about fatherhood in an interview with “Us Weekly” saying: “It’s just all-encompassing. You would do anything for your children – not that you wouldn’t for your wife or someone else you love, but there’s a sense of protectiveness and responsibility that comes with your children which you don’t feel in any other relationship.”
The couple married back in 2011 in the British Virgin Islands, following Nick’s divorce from Jessica Simpson in 2006. Nick and Vanessa already have a son and daughter together – Camden John, 3, and Brooklyn Elizabeth, 19 months.
We can’t wait to find out the name of the newest member of the Lachey Clan! If their first two children are anything to go by, it is very likely they’ll choose a location-based name for baby number three. A Paris or India would certainly fit right in!
