“Love Island” star Cara de la Hoyde has made her first public appearance since she announced that she is pregnant.
Cara was seen at The Baby Show in Birmingham debuting her baby bump one week after revealing the news that she is expecting a child with her ex-boyfriend, Nathan Massey.
She was at the exhibition to stock up on parenting essentials and stopped at the British Red Cross medical stall to get some tips on first aid for newborns. Cara also tested out prams and cots at various vendors.
Cara is expecting her baby in November. She and Nathan met and fell in love on “Love Island,” eventually winning the show and embarking on a year long romance. The couple broke up last June.
Although they are expecting a baby together, it does not seem as if reconciliation is in the cards.
“We’re still good friends,” Cara said to “OK!” magazine. “He’s going to be there for the baby and I’m making him aware of all the midwife appointments and scans, so he’s in the loop and so’s his mum.”
“I know a lot of people will think, well you’re going to have a baby together so just stay together – but we’re not going to do that just to look like the perfect couple,” she continued.
