It’s another boy for Mel Gibson, as he welcomes his ninth child with his girlfriend, Rosalind Ross!
The 61-year-old welcomed his newest bundle of joy over the weekend and has also revealed his name: Lars Gerard Gibson.
“They’re thrilled and Lars is adorable,” a source told “People” magazine. “Their family is all around them and Mel is over the moon. They’re home and everybody is healthy and happy!”
The couple have been dating for two years and they met when Rosalind applied for a job at Mel’s production company, Iron. They announced the pregnancy back in September and this is Rosalind’s first child, and of course, Mel’s ninth.
The “Braveheart” actor is already father to seven children from his 28-year marriage to ex-wife, Robyn Moore, whom he divorced in 2011. He has one daughter, Hannah, and six sons with her – Edward, Christian, William, Louis, Milo and Thomas.
Mel also has another daughter, Lucia, 7, with ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva.
Rosalind showed off her baby bump earlier this month when she went to the Golden Globes with Mel, but apparently skipped the after parties – a wise move, considering she was so close to giving birth!
We wish the new parents well and many congratulations!
