Chandler Bing

Chandler (Matthew Perry) was born to a mother who is an erotic novelist and a father who ends up coming out of the closet and moving to Las Vegas to be the star of a drag show. He becomes Ross’ roomate in college, and moves into the apartment across from Monica when they graduate, becoming Joey’s roommate and best friend. He eventually forms a romantic relationship with Monica and marries her. He is known for his awkwardness, strange sense of humour and sarcasm. Chandler is a transferred surname used by those with occupations involving making and/or selling candles.
