Gabriel García Márquez

Gabriel García Márquez was a Colombian writer and is considered one of the most significant authors of the 20th century and one of the best in the Spanish language. He won the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1982 and his known for his novels “One Hundred Years of Solitude” and “Love in the Time of Cholera.” Gabriel is a biblical name born by the archangel Gabriel, who appeared to Daniel according to the Old Testament. It was the archangel Gabriel who announced the impending birth of Christ.
