Janice Hosenstein

Janice (Maggie Wheeler) is perhaps one of the most memorable ex-girlfriends in the whole series. She is Chandler’s on-again, off-again girlfriend for the first four seasons of the show. Her trademark nasal voice and thick New York accent annoys all of the characters and they can’t stand to be around her. Her catchphrase is “Ohhhhh-myyyy-Gawwwd!” and is a reoccuring joke throughout the show. Janice is an English name that is a variation of Jane, which means “God’s gracious gift”.
