Princess Jasmine

Princess Jasmine is Aladdin’s love interest in the 1992 film, “Aladdin”. She is the daughter of the Sultan of Agrabah, living in the kingdom’s palace with her father and pet tiger, Rajah. Because of the palace’s strict rules, she has few real friends and gave her a strong desire to see the world. At the beginning of the film, she is to be married to a prince by her next birthday, forcing her into an arranged marriage. This leads to her running away from home, disguised as a peasant, where she meets Aladdin and falls in love with him. Jasmine comes from the fragrant, white-petaled flower of the same name.
