Skyler White

Skyler White (Anna Gunn) is Walter White’s wife. They had two children together, Walter White Jr. and Holly White. Their relationship becomes strained due to Walter’s increasingly strange behaviour, but she eventually finds out about his meth operation and ends up helping him. Skyler is a unisex name which comes from the Dutch surname Schuler, meaning ‘Scholar’. The name is not used in the Netherlands however. It is uncertain why, but the name became popular as a first name in America in the 1980s.
