What a surprise! The Oscar-winning actress showed off her baby bump on the red carpet on Thursday, as she attended the movie premiere for her new film, “Planetarium”, at the Venice Film Festival.
Natalie, 35, is expecting her second child later this year with her husband, French choreographer Benjamin Millepied, 39.
The couple first met on the set of her hit film “Black Swan” back in 2010 and they were wedded two years later in Big Sur, California. They had their first child, Aleph, 5, in June 2011.
When it comes to Natalie’s personal life she likes to kept it as private as possible and doesn’t put her son in the spotlight. In a recent article that she wrote for The New York Times’ “T Magazine” the actress revealed that her home life revolves around being a mother to her son and a wife to her husband. “When I’m not working, I’m pretty much exclusively with my family,” Natalie wrote. “So my rituals have to do with school, meal preparation, playdates, bedtime.”
Touching upon things she’s learned as a parent, Natalie writes: “Time goes exponentially fast as a parent. I hate saying it, cause ugh, we hated it so much when people said it to us: Pay attention and hold them close because before you know it, they’re moving out of the house.” We couldn’t agree more!
We send our congratulations to Natalie and we can’t wait to find out the name of the newest member of the family! Going by her son, we think Natalie will go for another strong, traditional Jewish name that reflects her Israeli roots.
