It’s been nearly a month since Alex Jones gave birth, but she had yet to decide on a baby name…until now!
Alex admitted that she was a ‘bit behind’ on the baby names: “We’re a bit behind on the whole names thing!” she said in a phone call to “The One Show” just after she gave birth, saying that she thought they’d ‘know’ when their baby arrived.
It’s taken her a while, but a baby name is something you want to think carefully about since it is an important decision. We totally understand why Alex took her time, but we’re so glad she has told us!
She shared the news on Instagram by snapping a pic of her son’s birth certificate, revealing his name to be Edward Alun Burrell Thomson. Alex captioned the picture with: “Teddy Thomson is official. ❤️” According to the certificate, Teddy was born at the Hammersmith and Fulham hospital on 22nd January 2017.
Alex has since shared a few snaps of her baby boy in Instagram, the first one being a picture of her son’s hand wrapped around her finger, which she captioned: “My new obsession. #soinlovewithhim.”
Congratulations once again to Alex and her husband, Charlie Thompson! We love the name Edward – it’s such an elegant and classic name that will definitely withstand the test of time.
