Paddy McGuinness and his wife, Christine Martin, are parents for the third time!
The “Take Me Out” presenter confirmed that he welcomed his newest bundle of joy, a baby girl, on Friday.
He shared the exciting news on Twitter, revealing the name of his daughter (Felicity Rose) and how much she weighed (8lb, 2oz). He then went on to say that the boys are out numbered in the McGuinness household and he is looking forward to spending time with the newest member of his family: “Welcome Felicity! The boys are officially out-numbered in our house. Let the maternity see the leave!”
Paddy, 43, and Christine, 28, already have a set of twins together – Leo Joseph and Penelope Patricia, both aged three. The couple, who first met in 2008 at the Liverpool International Tennis Tournament, have been married since June 2011.
He continued with a thank you message to the nurses at St Mary’s hospital for all their help: “Thank you to all the Drs, nurse, wonderful maternity staff and the amazing team in NICU at St Marys hospital who helped our baby girl.”
In an interview on The Jonathan Ross Show, Paddy said that while fatherhood is “the most fantastic thing ever,” he also said that the sleep deprivation is a “torture”.
The couple choose Felicity for their baby girl, which means “happiness” and “good luck”. What a sweet name!
Congrats to the happy couple!
