The US Social Security Administration released the list of America’s most popular baby names this week.
The most notable change saw Isabella claim the throne of number one girls name, at the expense of Emma.
No such dethroning occurred for the boys, where Jacob retained the top spot for the eleventh consecutive year.
Fast rising names include Cullen for boys and Maliyah for girls (inspired by the Twilight series and Barack Obama’s daughter respectively)
Miley, Lindsay and IJonas were the names falling in favour the most compared to previous years.
