Remember Alexa PenaVega, who played Carmen in the film “Spy Kids”? Well, she’s all grown up now and has welcomed her first child with husband Carlos PenaVega!
The couple welcomed their son on Wednesday, but has only made the announcement through Instagram over the weekend.
Alexa, 28, and Carlos, 27, have named their son Ocean King.
The new parents were quick to share some beautifully shot photos of their bundle of joy, as well as a few shots of the birthing experience.
“8.6 lb blessing. #OceanPenaVega #WelcomeHomeLilO,” Alexa captioned underneath the first photo of her baby boy.
It looks like Alexa and Carlos are the type of parents who had a baby name picked out well in advance. Three months before she was due to give birth, Alexa shared her baby name choice with her followers and explained why she chose Ocean King: “For those asking about our name choice… 🙂 -God called the dry ground “land” and the water the “seas”. And God saw that it was good.- That is why we went with Ocean. And he is a son of the one true “King”. For us it has a beautiful biblical meaning.”
They have been married since 2014 and announced their pregnancy in June. The couple have documented their baby journey online through their social media and a YouTube vlog.
