Pink is certainly good at keeping a secret!
The singer announced on Instagram yesterday that she is expecting her second child with her husband, Carey Hart. Pink made the grand reveal with a simple ‘Surprise!’ and a picture of her showing off her baby bump with daughter Willow Sage, 5, cuddling her. Mother and daughter were both dressed in similar ivory white, lacy outfits.
Everyone is still reeling from the surprise as many speculate how the singer did such a good job of hiding the pregnancy for such long time and keeping it a secret from her fans and the media. Pink has strategically timed her Instagram posts recently, where she hasn’t included her stomach in any pictures. Four months back she shared a picture where she can be seen holding a basket in front of her to hide the growing bump.
Pink married her husband back in 2006 though they haven’t had the easiest relationship. They separated in 2008 after cheating allegations surfaced but they rekindled their relationship after undergoing marriage counselling and Pink announced that she was pregnant for the first time in the same year.
During an interview with “Good Morning America,” Pink hinted that she was wanted to expand her family. “I love being a mama. I made a choice a long time ago that I was going to have a successful family and that is my absolute number one goal in life,” she said. “I feel like I have two kids right now. I would like a third. No, I want to say that Carey Hart’s an awesome husband and a really good dad, but he’s also like a second child.” Ironically, and judging by her Instagram pictures, she was already pregnant when she was giving this interview, back in May!
