Jadon and Anias McDonald are 14-month-old twin brothers who were born conjoined at the head.
Their parents, Christian and Nicole McDonald, had to make the scary decision to have them seperated when doctors feared that they would not make it to Christmas.
Doctors at Montefiore Hospital in Bronx, New York, operated on them on October 13. After a 27-hour surgery, the twins were succesfully seperated. The boys have been in rehab only six weeks after the surgery, which is historically the fastest recovery from an operation of this type.
Their mother has expressed her great relief at the recovery and recently posted a Facebook photo on Thanksgiving, showing the family celebrating the holiday together.
She also recently posted a video of her twins, the first in many weeks. It shows Jadon and Anias cuddling and bonding together, in an absolutely heart warming clip! The brothers, who only recently have been able to see each other, are shown whispering and giggling with each other.
What a great Christmas blessing for these two cute boys!
