Zooey Deschanel has welcomed her second child with husband Jacob Pechenik!
According to reports, Zooey gave birth at the beginning of May and welcomed a bouncing baby boy, who they have named Charlie Wolf Pechenik.
The couple seem to favour animal-themed middle names, as their daughter is called Elsie Otter.
A representative for the couple confirmed the news in a statement: “Zooey, Jacob and their daughter Elsie are overjoyed to welcome the newest member of their family.”
Zooey and Jacob, who tied the knot in 2015, revealed that they were expecting again back in January when Zooey was seen sporting a baby bump while filming.
She talked a bit about her work-life balance to “E! News” after the birth of her first child: “When you’re holding your baby, you’re like, ‘I don’t wanna go to work—this is like the best thing ever. But it’s nice, you know, I think, having a little girl, she knows her mommy works and I think that’s a good thing,” she said.
